KarirResmi is a careers portal operated by Resmi.ID. This policy explains what data we process when you look for work, apply, or hire through KarirResmi, and your rights over that data under Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection.
1. Data we collect
We only ask for what the hiring process needs.
- Account: your name, email and phone number from your Resmi.ID account. We never see or store your password — sign-in is handled by Resmi.ID SSO.
- Candidate profile: location, headline, summary, work experience, education, skills, salary expectation, WhatsApp number, portfolio link and the CVs you upload.
- Applications: the jobs you apply to, your screening answers, selection stages, interview schedules and notes from the hiring team.
- Companies: business profile from Resmi.ID, legal data (NIB, entity type, KBLI) matched against business licensing records, job postings and hiring team members.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and access times, for security and service improvement.
2. How we use data
- Showing jobs and company profiles, and matching jobs to your profile.
- Forwarding your application to the company you choose and showing you its status.
- Sending important updates — application status, interview invitations and reminders — via WhatsApp, email or dashboard notifications.
- Verifying companies' legal status and preventing fake jobs, fraud and account abuse.
- Analysing aggregated usage to improve the service.
3. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data.
- Companies you apply to: they see your profile, CV, screening answers and contact details for that job. Other companies cannot see your applications.
- Candidates and the public: they see company profiles, jobs and legal verification status. NIB numbers are partially masked.
- Service providers that help us: hosting and file storage, WhatsApp Business (Meta), email, network security and analytics. They process data on our instructions.
- Authorities, where required by law.
4. Data security
- All connections use HTTPS.
- CVs and documents are kept in private storage and can only be opened through temporary links, by you or by the company you applied to.
- Access to company data is limited by team role, and every change to an application's stage is logged.
5. Your rights
- Access and update your profile and CV at any time from your dashboard.
- Withdraw an application that is still in progress.
- Delete CVs, history entries or saved searches.
- Request a copy of your data, deletion of your account, or withdraw consent to processing by contacting us.
6. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in, protect forms against attacks (security tokens), and remember choices such as candidate or company mode. We also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used.
You can manage cookies in your browser settings, but sign-in and some features will not work without the necessary cookies.
7. How long we keep data
We keep data while your account is active or as long as the service requires. Completed applications may be retained by the company for recruitment and internal audit purposes. After an account is deleted, its data is deleted or anonymised, except where the law requires us to keep it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced on the site or in your dashboard, and the date above will be updated.
